Welcome!

Picture
I am a community and ecosystem ecologist interested in linking upper trophic levels with ecosystem function and processes.  I am especially interested in studying managed ecosystems, including agro-ecosystems, restored forests and cities.

I joined Kenyon College in 2023 where I am an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies. Prior to Kenyon, I was a post-doctoral associate with the  Burghardt Lab at the University of Maryland. I completed my PhD with the Perfecto Lab at the University of Michigan.
