Welcome!

Picture
I am a community and ecosystem ecologist interested in linking upper trophic levels with ecosystem function and processes.  I am especially interested in studying managed ecosystems, including agro-ecosystems, restored forests and cities.

I joined Kenyon College in fall 2023 where I am an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies. Prior to Kenyon, I was a post-doctoral associate with the  Burghardt Lab at the University of Maryland. I completed my PhD with the Perfecto Lab at the University of Michigan.

Please click on the menu above to learn more about my research and outreach or see my publications and CV.
